Our Story

Adrenalogix was founded in 2016 by Dr. Lena Edwards, our Chief Medical Officer.  Dr. Edwards has been in clinical practice for nearly 30 years and is an internationally known expert in Stress Medicine who has helped thousands of patients suffering from complex hormone imbalances and inexplicable health challenges.

For the past 20 years, Dr. Edwards has been researching and writing about stress, the HPA axis, cortisol, and the adrenals. She discovered that age, gender, genetic background, epigenetic changes, and fetal development directly affect baseline and stress related HPA axis function. Of these, she believed that the influence of gender on stress would be the easiest to manipulate because of the complex relationships between the sex hormones and cortisol. 

 

After 6 years of intensive research and product development, Dr. Edwards and her team created AdrenaFem and AdrenaMen.  No other nutritional supplement company offers comparable products, which is the very reason Dr. Edwards created them. The initial clinical outcomes have been outstanding, and larger clinical trials will soon be underway.
